A woman should have complete and total control of her body! At the same time, I believe that if a woman choose to go for a certain number of months with the anticipation of having the unborn child, then she should do so , barring any health concerns. The United States Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in my opinion was wrong and has caused all kinds of chaos. I was awarded one of the highest honors that is bestowed by the The Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers. The Honorary Lifetime Membership is awarded to individuals for outstanding service to children and youths. I gave voluntarily of my time, talent and resources beyond the call of duty for students and teachers. 

Most schools in U.S. Texas Congressional District 30 (CD-30) are considered at-risk for school achievement (Title 1 Schools). I would like to propose on a federal level my PTA for Students Bill (Parents & Teachers Assurance for Students). My PTA for Students Bill will propose to increase both teacher pay and PTA involvement around working parents with paid leave for parents while off work for school volunteering. Each parent volunteer will receive eight hours of the real median hourly wage or their current hourly wage (whichever is greater) for at least two hours of volunteer time per month. The designated PTA for that school will receive a minimum of $500 for each parent volunteer for that month. Public Agenda, A nonpartisan public opinion research organization, found that 65 percent of teachers say their students would do better in school if their parents were more involved, and 72 percent of parents feel that children whose parents are not involved sometimes "fall through the cracks" in school (Johnson & Duffett, 2003).

As we all know, a lot of states are making a broader push to make changes to voting laws with already restrictive rules for hard working voters. I will fight for our rights when it comes to voting. One candidate in the May 2022 Primary Runoff told voters that the Primary Runoff will decide who goes to Congress... that was a bald-faced lie! She lied to our communities in order to get you out to vote. She also lied about representing the Botham Jean Family to garner votes. God put George Manning, Jr. a World War II Army Veteran and father in my life. I also have a sister, nephew, and brother-in-law that have served with honor for our country. The level of respect and honor that I have for our veterans and military runs deep in my soul and heart. I will fight to my core to ensure that our veterans and military have the healthcare, housing and funding needed. I will protect Americans with solid decisions that will help to keep us out of wars. Love and protection, not war!

Enemy of Justice™ - This is a phrase that I coined to describe a person who actively opposes or shows hostility towards the fair treatment of any human being. I will fight for equal justice while having our communities more involved in the public safety areas of concern. I will help secure targeted mental health funding for our communities because police are not and should not be relied upon as mental health professionals.
